Any idea...

Who we can blame for today's debacle?

I got up at 6.15am this morning, caught the 8.50am train to Manchester Piccadilly, got the shuttle bus to Manchester Victoria, caught the train to Bradford interchange, then basically did the whole process in reverse. The only upside was in between we got in the pub ten minutes before the Man U v Liverpool game kicked off. Bit annoyed and a fair bit lighter in the wallet but hey ho, bring on the next away day! :)

It was a poor show from Bradford City FC yesterday, a club with a decent stadium who not so many years ago competed in the Premier league really shouldn't be the only victim of the weather in the whole football league.Amazed the pitch hasn't had improvements made to it in recent years, it has been a "glue pot" in the winter months for many years now. The Bradford City supporters we spoke to in the pub were all very pleasant. apologetic and probably slightly embarrassed. Still we had a few beers, watched the Man U v Liverpool game and made our way home, whilst Camdenite and Dan went off to watch Bradford Park Avenue, who somehow managed to play their home game against Alfreton Town!!
