I agree. I don't think Blackburn & Wigan just chucked money at it. They spent their money wisely, although they did spend.

I think you would probably change your mind if your saw the Blackburn Rovers' wage bill. Charlie Mulgrew, Bradley Dack and Danny Graham are on a pretty penny, not to mention our loan player Elliot Ward, who I've been told is in the top 10 wage earners in league 1.

It's all relative. Blackburn & Wigan had a large budget in League 1, although according to Pete we had one of the highest after them and we will have the largest in League 2. The problem has not been the money, except for the Championship. It's not spending the money wisely (see my list of poor transfers in a previous thread) and not getting the best out of the good players we do have.

The fact that Blackburn and Wigan have done well is more than money. E.g. Blackburn buying Downing from us, who has played well for them, while we got EEL on loan and he hasn't.
