The Story of the Dons - a brief history

Postby stony bloke » Wed Oct 13, 2010 3:00 pm

Attached is a brief history of the Dons, from the time before the move of Wimbledon FC to Milton Keynes until the end of the 2011/12 season.

The history has been split into three parts.

Part 1 covers Wimbledon FC's move to MK in 2003 and their reincarnation as the MK Dons, up to the move to stadiummk in 2007. This is mainly for people new to the Dons and the history of how we got here.

Part 2 follows on from 2007 to 2010 up to the appointment of Karl Robinson.

Part 3 covers Karl Robinson's tenure from 2010 up to the end of season 2011/12

If you wish to read the supporting documents on all the facts surrounding the move of Wimbledon FC to Milton Keynes and more, I would recommend the Milton Keynes Dons Supporters Association website, which has a factual library of documents and articles.
