Inclusion football activities in Milton Keynes are thriving.

Disability coaching activities in Milton Keynes

There are a number of groups providing specialist activities for a range of special needs. All group coaching sessions are lead by a qualified MK Dons Football in the Community coaches who are all CRB cleared. All groups have other staff and volunteers who are qualified to at least FA level 1 in football coaching, which includes child protection and basic emergency aid.

These groups have been set up by Football First in partnership with MK Council and Milton Keynes Dons Football Club Education and Sports Trust as part of the Football Associations National Ability Counts Programme. They all train locally in and around Milton Keynes, and the emphasis is always based on "Everyone can play." All groups are keen to welcome new members and work under a common policy of inclusion.

Black and Minority Ethnic (BME) Community involvement

Milton Keynes Dons Football Club Education and Sports Trust are working with Football First and a number of local organisations to promote BME football activities and to publicise the “Dons against Racism” message.

To find out more about any of the inclusion activities you should contact Dennis Woolford dennis.woolford@milton-keynes.gov.uk, 01908 253336 or 07958 728675.
