MK DDL League AGM

Postby billybob » Tue Jun 06, 2017 7:34 pm

Hi all if you attended the MKDDL AGM on Sunday can you put me right on something that went on
first thing Craig Pirie stepped down as Chairman and put himself forward for President. There was not nomination or a seconder. The same thing went for Clive Cook and Ian Doggett. Craig just asked for votes? So as l see it they are not on the committee, as they never followed there own rules. No change there then.
Second thing l thought you could only got one vote per club. Well that never happened either. l saw a number of people from the same clubs voting so that makes all the votes invalid? :?
Third thing there was a representative from the Berks and Bucks FA there why didn't he pick this up? he's was as mush use as a chocolate teacup
four thing. Why was the club fee raised and asked for before the AGM. Bit embarrassing for the MK DDL as now they have to pay the money back to all the clubs.

Have the DDl ever followed their own rules?

Have county Fa ever taken any notice of the rule breaking done by the DDL

At the county fa club meeting at the dons, the chairperson said she had never received any complaints about the DDL.

the main problem is that no-one had the nerve to ask these questions on thr night or to report them to county fa. everyone is frightend of the mkddl because they have shown how vindictive they can be in the past. even county seem unwilling to challenge them over things. complaining on here from the comfort of your armchair is ok - but it doesnt get much changed.

I agree

but we did do it at the meeting, but we were not heard by county FA.

so do we shout louder or shout higher up the tree?

complain to Alastair.Kay@berks-bucksfa.com and see if you can get him to take action would definitely be a start

if what billybob syas actually happened then the election of there officers was completely unconstitutional and needs to be challenged by member clubs through the cfa to the fa itself.
rules are there to be foloowed - whether you like them or not - and thr mkddl seem to feel that they are totally above that.
